Medical - Interpreters possess a valid NC Interpreting license, may have RID, NAD, or NIC Certification, and will comply with HIPAA confidentiality regulations

Legal - Interpreters possess an RID, NAD, or NIC Certification, and a valid NC Interpreting license, or are qualified under N.C.G.S. 8(b) with a valid NC Interpreting license.

Educational K-12 - Interpreters are EIPA rated and/or RID, NAD, or NIC Certified.

Educational Post-Secondary - Interpreters are RID or NAD Certified and/or have NC Interpreting License.

Business - Interpreters possess a valid NC Interpreting license, and may have RID, NAD, or NIC Certification.
